Natural Recipes
These are some of my favorite foods. I'm always trying out new recipes on my family (they are my guinea pigs!) and the ones posted here are their favorites.
Finding the balance between healthy and practical, and yummy and wholesome is a challenge for most of us in this fast-paced world. Recipes that fit that balance are a bit like finding the holy grail. And it's not like any of us have extra time on our hands. But these recipes fit the bill for my household. None of them use hard-to-find ingredients, they are all natural, and none of them take more than about a half-hour of active prep time. And most days, my kids love these!
If you're new to the natural foods movement, I recommend starting with some of my desserts. They are all natural and they will be a lot easier to get your 5-year-old to eat than say, lentil pasta or a quinoa bowl. But either way, happy cooking!
