- 30 drops clove essential oil
- 2 cups water
Measure out and pour 1 tsp castile soap or soapnut extract into a glass spray bottle.
Add the essential oils to the spray bottle.
Gently swish the bottle around to evenly mix the soap and the essential oils
Add 2 cups of water to the spray bottle and seal.
Gently swish all ingredients together and start spraying!
Either castile soap or soapnut extract work for this recipe. I tend to use the soapnut extract more often because I feel that it leaves less of a residue on items. Not sure what soapnuts are? See my post on how to make your own soapnut extract.
Also, make sure to use glass spray bottles so that the essential oils don't corrode the plastic.
This spray should actually help kill/repel bugs of all kinds, including bed bugs, ants, etc.
